Nishisando Terrace Apartment

Motoki Ishikawa

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Nishisando Terrace Apartment by Motoki Ishikawa This condominium composed of 4 lower volume three-storied houses and standing on the site near the midtown. The cedar lattice surrounding outside the building protects the privacy and avoiding restrain degradation of building body due to direct san light. Even with the simple squared plan, spiral 3D-construction made by connecting different level private garden, each room and stair hall lead to feed the volume of this building maximum. The change of facade of cedar boards and controlled proportions may let this building continue to be organic and blend with momentarily changing in the town.
