grid compound building

Shigeru Tsuda

Architecture, Building and Structure Design grid compound building by Shigeru Tsuda It's a five story compound building located in front of a station of Hankyu railway Kobe line in Nishinomiya, Japan. The site is open to almost all directions which enables the building to be seen from any angles. A concrete frame structure was chosen to give a strong structural image along with the toleration to be seen from any angle. It also serves as an advertisement building. In day time, structure stands out and at night, structure blends into the sky and advertisement appears.
